Trade relations between Vietnam and Japan
VJEPA, also known as Vietnam-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement signed between Vietnam and Japan, was signed on December 25, 2008 and takes effect force commenced on October 1, 2009. Accordingly, Japan will grant preferential tariffs for most goods imported from Vietnam under the Goods Agreement.
